Kabaddi is a traditional punjabi wrestling sport that has a nascent development in Australia and Melbourne in particular. Without permanent infrastructure tournaments are staged in improvised locations; soccer fields, empty fields next to housing developments, parks and grounds of Gurudwaras (Sikh temples). In this art-research project I look at the politicisation of sport and leisure. The dynamics of super diverse migration and the globalisation of political movements in place.
